Experience the Power of Song
Welcome to the Snowdown Colliery Welfare Male Voice Choir website — a proud choir rooted in our mining heritage and united by the power of song.
From the heart of the Kent pits to the stage of the Royal Albert Hall, the Snowdown Colliery Welfare Male Voice Choir has been a pillar of Aylesham’s community since 1929. Founded on proud Welsh choral traditions and forged in the local mining heritage, we are now a thriving group of men from all walks of life. Whether we’re performing across Europe or rehearsing right here at home, we’re all about great music and even better brotherhood.
Love to sing? Come be a part of the last remaining colliery choir in Kent—there’s always room for a new voice!
